A 17-month-old cat presented for frequent swallowing, occasional cough and stertor. Radiographic evaluation revealed a soft tissue mass at the level of the soft palate. Oral examination revealed a soft tissue mass within the soft palate. Surgical resection was performed. Histopathology was consistent with a large developmental cyst. Following surgical management the cat has remained clinically free of signs for 2 months.

A 5-year-old, female Ragdoll cat was diagnosed with an intra-abdominal mycetoma involving the ileocaecal region. Diagnosis was obtained via histopathological examination following surgical resection of the mass and an ileocolic anastomosis. A 7-year-old, neutered male, domestic shorthair cat was presented for severe inspiratory dyspnea of 2 to 3 days' duration. Radiography and tracheobronchoscopy confirmed the diagnosis of primary extrathoracic tracheal collapse. The cat was treated with oxygen, dexamethasone, and terbutaline, but no improvement was seen. Surgical correction was performed using nine prosthetic tracheal ring implants. Clinical signs improved after surgery, and the cat continued to do well 11 months after surgery, despite development of unilateral laryngeal paralysis.

This report describes an unusual case of primary cryptococcoma in the proximal thoracic spinal cord of an 11-year-old immunocompetent cat from a farm on which there were large numbers of pigeons. This animal was referred for examination with progressive paralysis and shown to be free from feline immunodeficiency virus, feline leukaemia virus, feline coronavirus and Toxoplasma gondii.
