BACKGROUND: In Australia, there is voluntary reporting of suspected adverse events (AEs) of therapeutic medicines. Some dopamine agonists (DAs) have serious AEs.
OBJECTIVE: We aimed to explore the pattern of DA AE reporting over two decades.

BACKGROUND: The aim of this work was to describe utilization patterns of dopamine transporter (DaT) scan and its influence on patient management at a single movement disorders center. RATIONALE: Chronic exposure to heroin results in decreased dopamine transporter levels. Jitai tablets, a traditional Chinese medicine, have been effective at increasing striatal dopamine transporter availability after 6 months of treatment.
