Interleukin-2 (IL-2) has been implicated as being necessary for the optimal formation of primary CD8(+) T cell responses against various pathogens. Here we have examined the role that IL-2 signaling plays in several aspects of a CD8(+) T cell response against murine gammaherpesvirus 68 (MHV-68). BACKGROUND: To determine the concentration of cytokines having an immunomodulating effect in the first trimester in women who subsequently developed preeclampsia.

BACKGROUND: Lymphomas have been shown to be responsive to 131I immunoconjugates in studies conducted in mice and patients. We have observed that copper 67 (67Cu)-labeled Lym-1 remains in lymphomatous tissue longer than 131I-Lym-1 and, consequently, results in higher absorbed radiation doses to tumors.
