We report the case of a young female with PSC-associated cirrhosis and chronic renal failure who developed clinical and electrocardiographic signs consistent with acute myocardial infarction after a combined kidney and liver transplant. Mesalazine is a key drug used for remission induction and maintenance therapy in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
