This report presents a case of uveitis secondary to ankylosing spondylitis (AS) with abnormal exudative deposits and pigment adhesion on the surface of an implantable Collamer lens (ICL) in a highly myopic eye following coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. Brown-black reticular pigmentation developed on the face and neck of a man. This was associated with severe seborrhea and the formation of multiple epithelial cysts on the trunk. We propose the term pigmentatio reticularis faciei et colli with multiple epithelial cysts as a suitable title for this disorder, and we hypothesize that these skin changes in this disorder are of nevoid origin. One similar case has been reported as "lentiginosis senilis" in the Japanese literature.

Dyschromic hypertrophic scar (HTS) is a common sequelae of burn injury, however, its mechanism has not been elucidated. This work is a histological study of these scars with a focus on rete ridges. We report the largest case series to date of granulomatous pigmented purpuric dermatosis (GPPD), a rare variant of pigmented purpuric dermatoses (PPD). GPPD can cause diagnostic difficulties as it can be mistaken clinically and histopathologically with numerous inflammatory and infectious dermatoses or even cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. We compared the histopathological findings of nine cases of GPPD with a control group consisting of 10 randomly selected PPD of other subtypes. Sarcoidosis is a systemic inflammatory disorder characterized by the formation of non-caseating granulomas. Cutaneous involvement of sarcoidosis is common and has a wide variety of clinical presentations. Herein, we present a case of cutaneous sarcoidosis mimicking pigmented purpuric dermatosis (PPD) in a 26-year-old female treated with topical tofacitinib cream and a literature review of all other reported cases of cutaneous sarcoidosis with PPD-like features.
