UNLABELLED: Uterine incarceration is an uncommon but serious presentation in the emergency department that requires early recognition to improve maternal and fetal outcomes.
CASE: A 29-year-old female, at 12 weeks gestation, presented to the emergency department (ED) with complaints of fever, sacral pain and urgency. Based on history and physical examination, she was found to have a retroverted, incarcerated uterus. After a failed attempt at reduction in the ED, her uterus was successfully reduced under general anesthesia.

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a rare mesenchymal tumor that occurs preferentially in the pleura. Although it has been described at some extrathoracic sites, its occurrence in the female genital tract is extremely rare. Septate uterus is a malformation caused by the defective resorption of the Müllerian ducts. It may be incomplete, or -- less frequently -- complete. We present a case of a uterus septus completus with special emphasis on the endometrial changes. Extramedullary relapse of acute myeloid leukaemia may occur in sites such as the central nervous system, testes, and skin. Presentations in the female genital tract are uncommon and usually asymptomatic. In contrast, symptomatic uterine myeloid sarcoma is very rare. Treatment of this is generally unsuccessful, but is improved when systemic therapies are used. We study a case of a uterine relapse of acute myeloid leukaemia presenting as vaginal bleeding and successfully managed by local irradiation. The mechanism of preferential infiltration of uterine tissue requires further study.

We describe the case of a rudimentary horn pregnancy coexistent with an intrauterine pregnancy. This situation is usually associated with rupture of the rudimentary horn and death of the correspondent twin. This is the first report on a multiple gestation with the two siblings successfully delivered by caesarean section in the two horns of a unicornuate uterus with rudimentary horn before any complication. Since the maternal mortality is higher in this situation, early ultrasound diagnosis is important to make the right decisions.

Two general types of metastases should be distinguished in metastatic salivary gland tumors: one of them are tumors originating in the head and neck region, and the other are tumors from distant tumor sites. This picture belongs to the iconographic tradition relating to the Graeco-Roman mythology of sexuality and procreation. A 20-year-old primigravida initially diagnosed at 28 weeks to have superfetation in a case of a bicornuate uterus was subsequently found to have uterus pseudo didelphys during a cesarean section at 35 weeks. This type of uterine anomaly with twin gestation has been previously reported in five case reports, but superfetation with such müllerian abnormality has not been previously described.
