Conjugated homopolymer poly(9,9-bis(3-((S)-2-methylbutylpropanoate))fluorene) (PSF) with chiral pendants was synthesized and characterized. Dissolution experiments show that PSF is well dissolved in racemic limonene at high temperature and begins aggregating upon sequential cooling treatment. The corresponding assemblies were transferred to quartz plate by the spin-coating method. Comparably, film casting from chloroform solution was also prepared. OBJECTIVES: To assess whether solvent use and workplace practices in the vehicle collision repair industry are associated with symptoms of neurotoxicity in spray painters and panel beaters (auto body repair workers).
METHODS: Neurobehavioural symptoms were assessed using a cross-sectional study design in 370 vehicle collision repair and 211 reference workers using the EUROQUEST questionnaire. Full-shift airborne solvent levels were measured in a subset (n=92) of collision repair workers.

We report that C60 molecules are spontaneously crystallized into vertical nanowires by the solvent vapor annealing (SVA) process. C60 molecules have been known to be assembled into wire-like crystals by simply dropping and drying C60 solutions in m-xylene on a solid substrate. By the drop-drying process, C60 nanowires have been mostly grown laterally on a solid substrate, as the major force applied to the droplet during the drying process is parallel to the substrate. The objective of this investigation was to develop the hollow microspheres as a new dosage form of floating drug delivery system with prolonged stomach retention time.
