A survey is given of upper respiratory tract tumors in Cpb:WU (Wistar random) rats. Data were collected from ten 24- to 30-month toxicity/carcinogenicity studies and from one 12-month study. Nasal tumors may lead to dyspnea, mouth breathing, and nasal discharge. These clinical signs mainly occurred in rats bearing squamous cell carcinomas. The large nasal tumors were often osteolytic, they invaded the subcutis over the premaxilla, resulting in swellings on the back of the nose, and extended into the brain. To analyze the clinical and pathological features of uterine sarcomas treated at our referral medical center. The aim of the study is also to analyze their prognosis factors. We performed a retrospective analysis of 40 women with uterine sarcoma treated at the Obstetrics and Gynecology department - Sousse - Tunisia between 1997 and 2010. INTRODUCTION: We present a case of unusually rapid tumor progression in a patient with primary sarcomatoid carcinoma of the ureter.
CASE REPORT: An 82-year-old female patient underwent total nephroureterectomy for a ureteral tumor that turned out to be a primary sarcomatoid carcinoma of the ureter. After a normal postoperative course, the patient developed a metastatic symptomatic that seemed to have appeared "like an explosion" on the 33rd p. o. day. She died shortly thereafter.

PURPOSE: To evaluate clinical outcomes for women with recurrent endometrial cancer treated with 3D image-guided brachytherapy
METHODS AND MATERIALS: 44 women, of whom 13 had received prior RT, received salvage RT for vaginal recurrence from 9/03 to 8/11. HDR or LDR interstitial brachytherapy was performed under MR or CT guidance in 35 patients (80%); 9 (20%) had CT-guided HDR cylinder brachytherapy. The median cumulative dose in EQD2 was 75.5 Gy. Actuarial estimates of local failure (LF), disease-free (DFS) and overall survival (OS) were calculated by Kaplan-Meier.
