Electrically generated spin-orbit torque (SOT) has emerged as a powerful pathway to control magnetization for spintronic applications including memory, logic, and neurocomputing. However, the requirement of external magnetic fields, together with the ultrahigh current density, is the main obstacle for practical SOT devices. Using the N=1 supersymmetric, spinning worldline quantum field theory formalism, we compute the conservative spin-orbit part of the momentum impulse Δp_{i}^{μ}, spin kick ΔS_{i}^{μ}, and scattering angle θ from the scattering of two spinning massive bodies (black holes or neutron stars) up to fourth post-Minkowskian (PM) order. We report reversible high capacity adsorption of SO2 in robust Zr-based metal-organic framework (MOF) materials. Zr-bptc (H4 bptc=biphenyl-3,3',5,5'-tetracarboxylic acid) shows a high SO2 uptake of 6.2 mmol g-1 at 0.1 bar and 298 K, reflecting excellent capture capability and removal of SO2 at low concentration (2500 ppm). The effect of solvent extraction on pore space was examined on a suite of samples from the Eagle Ford Shale Formation with varying lithologies and maturities. Several solvents ─toluene, cyclohexane, methanol, dichloromethane, and hydrochloric acid─ were contacted with shale samples, extracting the compatible organic matter. A new clathrate type has been discovered in the Ba/Cu/Zn/P system. The crystal structure of the Ba8 M24 P28+δ (M=Cu/Zn) clathrate is composed of the pentagonal dodecahedra common to clathrates along with a unique 22-vertex polyhedron with two hexagonal faces capped by additional partially occupied phosphorus sites. This is the first example of a clathrate compound where the framework atoms are not in tetrahedral or trigonal-pyramidal coordination. A simple system based on thermal decomposition for the one step determination of mercury has been built. This system was applied to the analysis of crude oil and related products. Samples were directly introduced into the system without the use of chemicals and digestion procedures. In order to help bridge the conceptual gap between experimental data on chains of phospholipid molecules and their microscopic organization, a theoretical model has proposed in a preceding paper. The intentions associated with the new theory were to describe a model able to reproduce accurately the experimental data. This capability is essential to monitor some of the mechanisms behind the physical data. The bone calcium status of 39 patients with chronic renal failure on hemodialysis has been measured by in vivo neutron activation analysis (IVNAA) and reported in terms of a calcium bone index (CaBl) which relates the calcium in a patient to that in a normal person of the same height.
