A case of post-traumatic chronic pan-hypopituitarism in a 22 year old man is reported. Post-mortem examination revealed gliosis of the posterior hypothalamus, sclerosis of the neuro-hypophysis, cellular atrophy of the adenohypophysis, with relative hyperplasia of the basophil cells, atrophy of the endocrine target glands. Clinical and morphological findings are correlated and discussed.

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to assess the clinicopathological features of florid cemento-osseous dysplasia (FCOD)-related osteonecrosis highlighting their histopathological aspects and bone structure.
METHODS: Twenty-two FCOD-related osteonecrosis cases were evaluated retrospectively. Osteonecrosis, osteomyelitis, bacterial colonization, bone resorption, reactive bone, osteon-like structure, lamellar bone, and basophilic lines were analyzed. Specific staining and fluorescence and polarized light microscopy analyses were also performed.

Allergic granulomatosis (Churg-Strauss) is sometimes associated with cutaneous manifestations. The pathological changes of nasal mucosa from allergic rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis were observed. OBJECTIVE: To determine the role of fine needle aspiration cytology in the diagnosis of extramedullary plasmacytoma.

Male C3H/He mice were given 0 (control) or 85 mg/kg/day phenobarbitone (PB). Groups of five control and five treated animals were killed at 5, 10, 25, 40 and 55 weeks; additional animals were allowed to live out their natural life span or killed at the termination of the experiment at 100 weeks.
