BACKGROUND: The current method for patch test tray assembly requires hand dispensing a small volume of hapten onto chambers. Because of human error, this technique produces inaccurate and inconsistent results. The recommended volume of hapten for patch testing using Finn Chambers is 20 μL.
OBJECTIVE: The aims of this study were to create a device that standardizes the delivery of 20 μL and to compare it with the current hand dispensing technique.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the safety and effectiveness of a novel transurethral bougie-guided monorail technique for suprapubic catheterization in females with vesicovaginal fistula.
METHODS: Patients undergoing transvaginal vesicovaginal fistula repair from February 2013 to December 2013 were selected. Mitral insufficiency is a frequently occurring valvular disease for which surgery is the reference treatment. We have designed a laboratory extracorporeal normothermic blood perfusion system for whole organs (e.g., kidney) that achieves pulsatile flow, low levels of hemolysis, and a blood priming volume of 60 mL or less. Our group have introduced a portable light emitting diode (LED) phototherapy system for treating neonatal jaundice. The device selects blue narrow-band LED as the light source, driven by MAX5035. The light intensity is linearly adjusted as the alteration of the pulse-width modulation signal, controlled by ATmega16L, and the value can be displayed in LCD12864. The device breaks the bonds of traditional phototherapy, it features small size and can provide an intense irradiance-controlled treatment as it's needed.

PURPOSE: With the aim of facilitating core fistulectomy of high fistula-in-ano and reducing the risk of harmful injuries to sphincter muscles, we fabricated a novel fistulectomy set.
METHODS: The set circumferentially separates approximately 2.5 mm thickness of the tract by moving a special tubular blade along it and removes the separated tissues by rotating a special cannulated screw which is housed in the blade.
