BACKGROUND: Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH), a particularly devastating subtype of stroke, is associated with substantial rates of mortality and long-term functional impairment. Despite notable progress in therapeutic strategies, a considerable proportion of aSAH survivors continue to suffer from neuropsychiatric complications, most commonly anxiety and depression, which detrimentally impact their overall quality of life.

Stuttering as a side effect of antipsychotics is rare. There are a few case reports of antipsychotic-induced stuttering, namely, chlorpromazine, levomepromazine, trifluoperazine, fluphenazine, olanzapine and clozapine. Risperidone is commonly used as an atypical antipsychotic. It is licensed for both acute and chronic psychosis and mania. The concept of wellness as a spiritual process is examined in this grounded theory study on the role of human relationships in the well-being of gay men with HIV infection. The sample included 29 homosexual men in various stages of HIV illness. Findings reveal a description of the construct, wellness spirituality, in which the elements of human connectedness, meaning, and self-acceptance are discussed. This study confirms the findings of other researchers who demonstrated the importance of spirituality in the health and well-being of terminally ill people.
