UNLABELLED: A 37-year-old female presented to our facility suffering from exertional dyspnea for 2-3 months. Her chest x-ray showed a nodular shadow in the right lower lung, and chest CT revealed a pulmonary arteriovenous fistula (PAVF). BACKGROUND: No definite conclusive management has been established in the treatment of thromboembolism during coil embolization of cerebral aneurysms. To date, intravenous heparin, intra-arterial fibrinolytic agent, and intravenous or intra-arterial glycoprotein IIb-IIIa inhibitors have been the mainstay of treatment. The use of Onyx for the treatment of S-AVFs is not well established at this time. Digital angiography of pudendal and penile arteries was performed on 32 consecutive patients with erectile failure of suspected vascular origin. Intra-arterial injection of contrast medium via selective catheterization of the hypogastric arteries was used in 6 cases. Acardiac twinning is a rare obstetric condition unique to monochorionic twin gestation and the pump twin has high perinatal mortality. We report an acardiac twin pregnancy, in which the pump twin presented with intrauterine growth restriction and oligohydramnios, and grossly hydropic acardiac fetus measured 12 x 14 x 18 cm, and with no cardiac activity at 27 weeks of gestation. We treated the acardiac fetus with 1 ml alcohol ablation in utero, and delivered a live male baby weighing 1750 g at 36 weeks' gestation.
