PURPOSE: To develop a simpler animal model for benign tracheal stenosis and introduce a low-cost household endoscope for postmodeling endotracheal evaluation.
METHODS: Twenty rabbits were randomly divided into a model group (15 rabbits, subjected to transoral nylon brush scraping of the trachea) and a mock group (5 rabbits, merely exempted from scraping), a household endoscope was then introduced for weekly endoscopic examination. Meanwhile, other 15 rabbits (modeling like the model group) underwent batch tracheal resection at different postintervention times for pathological analysis.

In this paper we present results of the application of PLOT-cryoadsorption (PLOT-cryo) to the analysis of ignitable liquids in fire debris. We tested ignitable liquids, broadly divided into fuels and solvents (although the majority of the results presented here were obtained with gasoline and diesel fuel) on three substrates: Douglas fir, oak plywood and Nylon carpet. PURPOSE: To study the effect of different ways of pulling the drilling burs and cooling systems on alveolar bone temperature of the surgical area, and explore the changes of temperature field in dental implants.
METHODS: Forty-eight unified standard artificial (nylon) bone blocks were fabricated and divided into 6 groups according to different drilling pulling ways and cooling systems. The changes of bone temperature field were detected in 6 groups, and the highest temperature in temperature field was measured and recorded.
