Protein kinase C (PKC) is involved in the alpha1-adrenergic-potentiation of beta-adrenergic stimulated cyclic nucleotide responses in rat pinealocytes. The immunosuppressive effect of topical ethacrynic acid (ECA) was tested on both the induction and elicitation phases of contact sensitization in a mouse model.
