PURPOSE: To describe the clinical course and treatment with immunomodulatory agents in patients with tubulointerstitial nephritis and uveitis syndrome.
METHODS: Retrospective analysis of the charts of six patients with tubulointerstitial nephritis and uveitis syndrome.

Acute tubulo-interstitial nephritis and uveitis (TINU syndrome) in a 53-year-old woman is reported. This rare syndrome was described 27 years ago by Dobrin et al. METHODS: The electronic medical records of children who developed ocular hypotony following uveitis were reviewed retrospectively.
