BACKGROUND: Delayed postpartum hemorrhage is rare, with an incidence of 0.5% to 2.0% in all pregnancies. The most important causes are placental remnants, infections, and placental bed subinvolution. Postpartum choriocarcinoma, a highly malignant complication of pregnancy, is a rare condition that can be easily misdiagnosed as other common causes, such as gestational remnants, and delays the diagnosis.

BACKGROUND: Hepatic pregnancy is a rare form of abdominal pregnancy, often documented only as case reports.
CASE PRESENTATION: We report here the case of a 24-year-old African woman, gravida 4 para 3, presenting with right upper quadrant pains and metrorrhagia after amenorrhea of 8 weeks 5 days. Elements in favor of the diagnosis of hepatic pregnancy were her clinical presentation, the kinetics of β-human chorionic gonadotropin titers, and the presence of a sub-hepatic mass on ultrasound. This systematic review and meta-analysis was performed to compare the efficacy and safety of uterine artery embolization (UAE) followed by curettage and methotrexate (MTX) plus curettage in the treatment of cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) in China. Studies published in PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, SinoMed (Chinese BioMedical Literature Service System), and China National Knowledge Information were systematically searched. BACKGROUND: Primary ovarian ectopic pregnancy is a rare type of ectopic pregnancy which has an estimated prevalence ranging from 1:7000 to 1:70,000 accounting for almost 3 % of all ectopic cases. Here we report the case of a 25-year-old woman who presented to our clinic with abdominal pain, 6 weeks' delay of menstruation and 3 days of vaginal bleeding, whose transvaginal ultrasonography showed an ectopic gestational sac with yolk sac inside, in her right ovary. This case shows that early diagnosis is very important particularly in places like the Sub-Saharan region of Africa.
