PURPOSE: A three-way crossover study with seven healthy male volunteers was conducted to determine the relative bioavailability of phenobarbital after single dose administration of 100 mg of phenobarbital as oral solution in Myvacet 9-08, and as a suspension, compared with a 100 mg phenobarbital tablet.

Local injections of suspended steroid solution into the nasal mucosa were performed for 102 patients with olfactory disturbances. Dexamethasone acetate suspension in a concentration of 4 mg/0.5 ml was injected into the mucosa of the nasal septum on each side every 2 weeks for a total of 8 times. Following craniofacial procedures that involve stripping of the periosteum and soft tissue over the zygomatic maxillary complex, descent of soft tissue with a decrease in anterior projection over the malar area and increase in fullness in the nasolabial fold have been seen to be a problem by these authors. A series of 40 consecutive patients with proven stress urinary incontinence underwent Stamey endoscopic bladder neck suspension. There were 5 cases of detrusor instability and the results were poor in this group. Excluding these patients, 77% were cured and 12% reported significant improvement. In 22 patients with anterior bladder suspension defect as judged by colpocysto-urethrography (CCU) a vaginal repair was undertaken. In 14 patients urinary stress or urge and stress incontinence was the indication for operation, and in 8, genital prolapse.
