Oyster enzymatic hydrolysates (OEHs) derived from marine sources possess intensely unpleasant flavors, which severely limit their acceptance by consumers. Herein, V-type starches (V6a/h, V7a/h and V8a/h) are utilized for the deodorization of the OEH. Two persons had allergic contact dermatitis caused by Irgasan 0,2% in a deodorant foot-powder and 0,12% in a deodorant stick respectively. Both had positive patch test reactions to Irgasan 2% pet. In this study, chitosan needle-punched nonwovens (CS) was screen-printed with functional inks containing baicalein (Bai) and activated charcoal (AC) to prepare multifunctional dressings (AC + Bai@CS). Today's fragrances are present in more than just perfumes, having become ubiquitous in skin care products such as creams, shampoos, sun tan lotion and deodorants. While aromatics can arouse the senses, aromatic compounds applied to skin can also cause allergic contact dermatitis. This article describes diagnosis, limitations of patch testing for fragrance mix 1 and fragrance mix 2, the relevance of fragrance concentration in products, use testing of common consumer products and our current recommendations in regards to the management of fragrance contact allergy.
