BACKGROUND AND AIM: Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea (CDAD) and enteral nutrition (EN)-associated diarrhea are the most common recognized etiologies of nosocomial diarrhea. Manganese has been proven to be an essential trace element in animals since 1931. BACKGROUND: A common osmolality threshold for feedings is to stay <450 mOsm/kg for normal infants. Preterm formulas are frequently modified to improve growth, modify nutrition, and manage gastroesophageal reflux (GER) or dysphagia. Patients with the idiopathic nephrotic syndrome (INS) with steroid treatment failure, who did or did not have a history suggesting food intolerance, were systematically evaluated for food allergy. BACKGROUND: Eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders (EGID) are a group of conditions with increased eosinophilic infiltration in any part of the gastrointestinal tract. Modifying the diet can have a favorable impact on the course of chronic inflammatory bowel disease. In contrast, nutrition plays no major role in the development of the disease or in provoking an acute attack.
