Seven silicon(IV) phthalocyanine carboxylate esters (SiPcs, 1-7) with non-, partially- and per-fluorinated aliphatic (linear or branched at the alpha-carbon) and aromatic ester groups have been synthesized, their solid-state structures determined and their optoelectronic properties characterized. The SiPcs exhibit quasi-reversible oxidation waves (vs. Fc+/Fc) at 0.58-0.75 V and reduction waves at -0.97 to -1.16 V centered on the phthalocyanine ring with a narrow redox gap range of 1.70-1.75 V. METHOD: Two hundred and ninety-seven patients of laryngotracheal stenosis were operated with laryngotracheal reconstruction in our department. All of patients were tracheostomy dependent before reconstruction and were placed a silicon T-tube stenting for 3 to 6 months after reconstruction.

OBJECTIVE: To assess whether breast implant rupture or extracapsular silicone are associated with selected symptoms of self-reported physician-diagnosed connective tissue disease (CTD).
METHODS: Women with silicone gel breast implants responded to a questionnaire that included questions on health status, satisfaction with implants, symptoms of CTD, and physician-diagnosed disease. Silicon fluoride acceptors (SiFAs) are promising radiopharmaceutical motifs that promote mild and rapid 18F-labeling via isotope exchange (SiFEx). Nevertheless, their use in biologically active small molecules is complicated by their poor pharmacokinetic properties that stem from their high lipophilicity and large steric profiles. In an effort to overcome these limitations, we report here the synthesis and properties of fluorosilapiperidines (Pip-SiFAs), which retain SiFEx efficiency on an endocyclic Si center that approaches more pharmacologically compatible motifs.
