Splenogonadal fusion (SGF) is a rare congenital anomaly in boys and girls. It commonly presents as a testicular mass treated with an unnecessary orchiectomy. The long-term results of 375 primary mastoidectomy operations for chronic otitis media and chronic mastoiditis are described and discussed.
