The authors present a case of primary carcinoma of the choroid plexus in a 26-years-old female, localized in the left lateral ventricle. Four years after total removal plus local radiotherapy, the patient presented with an intraparenchymatous metastasis in the right cerebellar hemisphere and intraspinal metastatic seeding. With this kind of malignant growth, a therapeutic approach consisting of radical removal of the tumour plus radiotherapy to the whole neuraxis is proposed.

We report a case of a 20-month-old girl with a large choroid plexus carcinoma arising in the left lateral ventricle and an adrenocortical tumor. Following brain tumor resection, the patient was treated with radiation and chemotherapy. The adrenocortical tumor was found with the manifestation of precocious puberty. TP53 gene mutation (exons 4-10) was not detected in either specimen. The patient had leptomeningeal dissemination and died 26 months later.

BACKGROUND: Usher syndrome is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by retinitis pigmentosa (RP), sensorineural hearing loss, and vestibular dysfunction. Polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) is characterized by branching neovascular networks and polypoidal lesions. While typically classified within the pachychoroid spectrum, PCV can also manifest in eyes without choroidal thickening. Conversely, RP is usually associated with choroidal thinning, which may lead to underdiagnosis of PCV. To the best of our knowledge, PCV has not previously been reported in patients with Usher syndrome.

OBJECTIVE: To study the prevalence, clinical presentation, treatment, and follow-up of ocular (dermal) melanocytosis (ODM) and its association with choroidal melanoma (CM) in Asian Indian patients.
METHODS: This was a retrospective case series of patients with ODM conducted in a quaternary eye care center.

BACKGROUND: Choroidal melanoma is the most common primary ocular tumor in adults. These tumors are almost always unilateral and develop spontaneously or arise from pre-existing nevi.
