BACKGROUND: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a major cause of cancer death worldwide accounting for over half a million deaths per year. Hepatocellular carcinoma can occur secondary to viral hepatitis, HBV or HCV. It can also occur secondary to other causes of Cirrhosis (alcoholism being the other most common cause).

Cases of association between celiac disease and wheat allergy have been described in the literature. Since August 1993, child psychiatry training by a full-time child psychiatrist has become an essential component of the postgraduate training programme at the Department of Paediatrics, Keio University Hospital, Japan. In 1970 a questionnaire was sent to 97,300 married women aged 25-50 years residing in eastern Massachusetts information was requested on use of oral contraceptives (OC), education, and gynecologic and reproductive histories.
