PURPOSE: To evaluate the efficacy of fibrin sealant for repair of urethrocutaneous fistula after multiple failed hypospadias and epispadias surgeries.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study population comprised 11 boys (mean age 12.18 years) with history of hypospadias or epispadias and at least two failed fistula repair operations leading to recurrent urethrocutaneous fistula. During the operation, single-donor fibrin glue, either from the patient (7) or a parent (4), was applied over the suture lines and beneath the skin. BACKGROUND: Soft-tissue coverage and vascularity likely play a vital role in the genesis of wound complications and infections during open Achilles tendon repair. Planning an appropriate surgical approach might decrease the prevalence of these complications.
METHODS: Five adult cadavers underwent whole-body arterial perfusion with a mixture of lead oxide, gelatin, and water. The skin of the foot and ankle was dissected, and the vascular supply was evaluated with angiography. All angiograms were analyzed with use of statistical software.

The presence of a short sciatic nerve in the free edge of a popliteal pterygium makes this syndrome a surgical challenge. We present a case of popliteal pterygium that was treated by nerve expansion. 105 patients with late stage radiation skin injury were treated from 1970 to 1986, using drugs combined with surgical intervention according to the clinical features of the injury. Drug therapy consisted of topical application of urea, antibiotics, trypsin and elastase, and systematic use of alpha 2-Macroglobulin. Of 62 patients receiving medication, 55 (88.7%) were completely or basically treated and 7 failed. Of 51 lesions of 43 patients receiving surgical treatment, 47 healed by first intention. In 4 patients, necrosis of partial and/or peripheral skin flaps healed after renewed repair.

Pyoderma gangrenosum is a neutrophilic dermatosis characterized by immune dysfunction and pathergy. Thus, it is frequently seen in patients with underlying systemic illnesses or postoperatively. Gynecomastia may result in psychological problems because the presence of a "feminized" chest changes the male body contour, altering the masculine ideal of virility. Currently, surgical techniques described for the correction of gynecomastia are for some patients associated with aesthetically unacceptable scars, sometimes less tolerated than the chest deformity itself. The case of a 20-year-old man who underwent the authors' male chest body-contouring technique with minimal visible scars is described.

Frontonasal dysplasia is a severe malformation composed of cranial, ophthalmic, nasal, upper lip, and palatal deformities. Reconstruction in these patients requires complex craniofacial efforts. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between the overlying tissues and recurrence of Dupuytren's contracture.
METHODS: Forty-three patients (68 hands) who accepted surgical treatment were divided into two groups according to treatment methods: partial fasciectomy or dermofasciectomy and full-thickness skin graft. Telemedicine at a comprehensive cancer center evolved in the late-COVID-19 steady-state period. We retrospectively analyzed 3,761,467 ambulatory visits (2021-2024); 1,104,526 (29.4%) were telemedicine. Telemedicine's share declined from 33.1% in 2021 to 25.8% in 2024.
