Numerous authors have produced different types of immunoglobulins in analyses of the human periapical granuloma. The present study examines the cellular immunity of the human periapical granuloma, and in particular the distribution of the lymphocyte sub-populations and the macrophage population. We report one case of nasal T-cell lymphoma (NTL) that we studied histologically and with a panel of monoclonal antibodies. It is a rare etiology of the so-called lethal midline granuloma. We report three cases of clinically unapparent syringoma found incidentally on horizontal frozen tissue sections from patients undergoing Mohs micrographic excision of basal cell carcinoma (BCC).
