The incidence of hydatidiform mole is 1 per 1000 pregnancies. The occurrence of hydatidiform mole in ruptured tubal pregnancy is very rare. We report an unusual case of molar pregnancy in the right fallopian tube which presented as an adherent adnexal mass. The present case conveys the importance of histological examination of products of conception which helps the pathologist to provide an appropriate diagnosis, thereby the clinician can offer appropriate counseling and follow up to the patient.

External root resorption (ERR) is an irreversible loss of external tooth structure. Its etiology is multifactorial, but in many aspects remain unclear. Periapical inflammation sustained by infection can cause apical root resorption in permanent teeth. The infection may be asymptomatic for many years, although it is rarely misdiagnosed. Treatment of such lesions should include use of intracanal medicaments for complete debridement of the microbes. Here, we present a case of 21-year-old male patient who presented with external inflammatory root resorption.

More than 80 years after its discovery, penicillin is still a widely used and commercially highly important antibiotic. Here, we analyse the metabolic network of penicillin synthesis in Penicillium chrysogenum based on the concept of elementary flux modes. Dentigerous cyst is the most commonly occurring odontogenic cyst after radicular cyst and accounts for 15% of all true cysts in the jaws. The cyst is more common in mandible than in maxilla. The dentigerous cyst is commonly associated with impacted mandibular third molars. In maxilla, the incidence is rare. Dentigerous cyst in maxillary sinus in association with an impacted third molar is an uncommon entity. Identifying the variations of root canal morphology is crucial prior to commencing any endodontic treatment. The advancement of current endodontic instrumentation and technology has greatly enhanced treatment outcomes, which are now more predictable. This clinical case report presents a case of a maxillary first molar showing six root canals and apical foramina, i.e. three mesiobuccal canals, two palatal canals and one distobuccal canal. The occurrence of bifurcation in the second mesiobuccal canal is also emphasised.
