Two unique cases of blunt laryngopharyngeal trauma are presented in which identical injuries were sustained to the supraglottic larynx and hypopharynx. Examination of the patients included the use of magnetic resonance imaging to help define the extent of injury. A successful outcome was achieved in each instance by employing the reconstructive technique of epiglottic laryngoplasty to repair the mucosal defects.

CASE: We present a case of a 30-year-old man who sustained a traumatic transtibial amputation from a motorcycle accident. Owing to significant posterior tibial bone loss, an antibiotic spacer was used to preserve below-knee amputation level and avoid conversion to a transfemoral amputation. CASE: A 15-year-old adolescent boy sustained a Gustilo-Anderson type III-B tibiofibular open fracture after a motorcycle collision. This injury and subsequent debridement resulted in a 15-cm defect in the tibial bone and skin. He underwent skin grafting and staged tibialization of the fibula to reconstruct a segmental tibial bone defect, stabilized using a double internal locking plate. At 10 months postoperatively, bony union was achieved, and the patient demonstrated favorable limb function.

We report a case of intraperitoneal bladder rupture in a 24-year-old man who was struck by a motorcycle. Initial contrast-enhanced CT scan shortly after presentation to our emergency department demonstrated simple free fluid within the upper abdomen and pelvis. Traumatic testicular dislocation (TTD) is a rare consequence of blunt scrotal trauma. A 21-year old gentleman presented with inguinal pain following a motorcycle accident and physical examination revealed absence of both testes within a well-formed scrotal sac with bilateral inguinal swellings.
