BACKGROUND: Gallbladder carcinoma is a highly lethal but relatively rare neoplasm of the digestive tract. p53 mutations are one of the most frequent genetic alterations in human cancers and are thought to play a role in pathogenesis of several malignancies. Kras oncogene is responsible for high frequency recognized as an early event in pancreatic and colonic carcinogenesis.

Tenosynovial giant cell tumors (TSGCT) are uncommon soft tissue neoplasms that can become debilitating if not diagnosed and treated promptly, particularly in advanced stages. Because of their nonspecific clinical manifestations, they are often misdiagnosed or overlooked. This case series highlights the varied clinical presentations and characteristic imaging findings of patients with TSGCT. BACKGROUND: Melanoma is a neoplasm derived from melanocytes of the skin and other sites. In the natural history of melanoma, cutaneous metastases occur relatively frequently and can arise in early or late stages of the disease.
OBJECTIVE AND METHODS: Melanoma skin metastases have a variable appearance. Several clinical appearances are described in the literature.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: We describe an unusual clinical pattern of cutaneous melanoma metastasis, defined as giant, centrifugal, and necrotizing, and we provide a brief review of the literature.

There were introduced several screening programs for the early detection of neoplasms. They were devoted for diagnosis of cancer at early stage which gives a greater chance for totall recovery from the disease. The case of a female patient 21 years old at the time of diagnosis is reported. The patient suffered from stage IV Hodgkin's disease of the nodular sclerotic type with head and neck manifestations in cervical lymph nodes and in the esophagus. After radiotherapy; she suffered from an esophageal/mediastinal fistula and unilateral paralysis of the recurrent laryngeal nerve. Fifteen years later, there are no signs of recurrent tumor growth or a secondary neoplasm. Dysphonia was ameliorated by speech therapy, and surgery was not necessary.

Our purpose was to determine the discovery method and stage of newly discovered breast cancers at two different medical centers. To do this, we conducted a retrospective chart review at our urban and suburban teaching hospitals during 1991 through 1992 and 1992, respectively.
