Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have completely changed the treatment of cancer, and they also can cause multiple organ immune-related adverse reactions (irAEs). OBJECTIVE: FDG PET/CT has a growing role in the diagnosis and management of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). FDG PET has greater efficacy for N and M staging than other modalities, which enables the treating oncologists to select the appropriate mode of treatment. FDG PET/CT helps in radiation therapy planning, provides valuable prognostic information, and is useful in the assessment of therapy response and in follow-up to detect recurrences.
CONCLUSION: FDG PET/CT is a valuable imaging test in the management of NPC.

Neoplasms of the upper respiratory tract and ear are tumors of visual localization; however, patients often go to specialized medical institutions in the presence of a widespread tumor process. This paper presents a brief overview of the most common benign and malignant tumors with localization in the oropharynx, nasopharynx, larynx and ear. The clinical picture, diagnosis and various treatment options are presented. Attention is paid to early diagnosis and the need for timely consultation with an oncologist and doctors of related specialties.

The recent use of vemurafenib, a specific inhibitor of BRAF, has led to a significant improvement in disease-free survival and overall survival of patients treated for a BRAF-mutated metastatic melanoma. This new class of drugs is not devoid of side effects, including skin effects. In particular, its association with concomitant radiotherapy should be taken into consideration, vemurafenib appearing to be radiosensitizer. The radiation oncologist must be aware of this potential toxicity, which is not uncommon in clinical practice.

The management of benign and malignant neoplasms of the salivary glands requires precise knowledge of tumor histogenesis and classification as well as surgical skills. Pleomorphic adenoma and Whartin's tumor are the most frequent tumors in parotid glands while the probability for malignant tumors is higher in other glands, especially in sublingual and minor salivary glands. Those malignant salivary glands tumors are rare and necessitate multidisciplinar staging and management in close collaboration with the pathologist and the radiation oncologist.

We relate 2 cases reports about rectal cancer and pregnancy. This association is rare but is a real problem of management because diagnosis is done latly and it mate have incompatibility between treatments and pregnancy. A medical bibliography has been done, to define the best medical procedure in function of the disease staging and the pregnancy term. It shows that a multi disciplinary decision must be done, which take into consideration the choice of the obstetricals, pediatricians, surgeons, and oncologists, but also the patient's choice.
