OBJECTIVE: To explore the hematopathologic features of T-cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia (T-LGLL).
METHODS: A retrospective analysis of the clinical presentation, bone marrow morphology, immunophenotyping and T-cell receptor gene rearrangement status were performed in 19 patients with T-LGLL.

B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (B-CLL) is a heterogeneous disease with some patients having an indolent course never needs treatment, while others having rapidly progressive one requires intensive treatment. In recent decades, numerous prognostic markers, such as immunoglobulin variable region heavy-chain (IgVH) mutational status, ZAP-70 and the expression of CD38 on leukaemic cells were introduced to screen for patients likely to have progressive course of B-CLL bearing the potential to facilitate risk-adapted treatment strategies. In B-CLL, T cell function is shown to be dysregulated.

Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AILT) is a rare variant of nodal and aggressive lymphoma. It is sometimes difficult to distinguish AILT from reactive lymphoid hyperplasia from the histopathological aspect. We report a case of AILT which developed with bilateral pleural effusion. OBJECTIVE: To study the quantitative changes of the T-lymphocyte subsets in RAU patients with different stages and to know the influences of cytomegalovirus(CMV) on cellular immunity in RAU patients.
METHODS: CD4(helper/inducer) and CD8(suppressor/cytotoxic) cells in the peripheral blood were tested with monoclonally immunocytochemical technique (APAAP method) in 26 ulcerative stage patients and 10 inactive patients.
