Cytological features of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) were reviewed in an attempt to select cytological criteria that permit a specific recognition of metastases. For this purpose, 54 fine-needle aspiration (FNA) procedures from 43 patients with NPC were analyzed. Thirty-two (59.3%) procedures were performed before the histological diagnosis. In 25 (46.3%) procedures, smears showed many neoplastic single cells, clusters, and abundant lymphoid cells (mixed pattern). OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study is to report the radiographic changes seen in chronic sclerosing osteitis of the diaphysis of tubular bones during progression or healing, with CT and MRI correlation. Chronic sclerosing osteitis is an inflammatory condition of bone that can be considered a pediatric subset of the synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis, osteitis (SAPHO) spectrum of disease. Previous descriptions of long-bone involvement focus predominately on metaphyseal lesions. Eleven diaphyseal lesions in seven patients (age range, 13 months-14.5 years) were followed.

BACKGROUND: Iatrogenic crescentic hematoma of the right coronary sinus is a rare complication after coronary angiography. It mimics aortic root dissection, easily triggering diagnostic confusion and unnecessary invasive interventions.
CASE SUMMARY: A 60-year-old man developed this hematoma during coronary angiography. Multimodal imaging excluded aortic extension and secondary cardiac complications.
