Anterior midline cervical anomalies, excepting thyroglossal tract abnormalities, are rare. Two unusual and almost identical cases of an anomalous congenital tube connecting the chin to the upper sternum are described; only one previous similar report exists in the literature. In all three cases, the tubes occurred as isolated anomalies in otherwise healthy children.

Head tremor is a typical feature of essential tremor. Patients with sporadic Parkinson's disease can have tremor of the tongue, lip, or chin, but classically do not have head tremor. We describe five patients with Parkinson's disease and head tremor in whom clinical and neurophysiological findings suggested that head tremor was a manifestation of Parkinson's disease.

We report on a Brazilian girl born to nonconsanguineous parents and presenting with frontonasal dysostosis, callosal agenesis, abnormal upper lids, cleft lip/palate, redundant skin in the neck, grooved chin, and bifid thumbs. Major diagnostic criteria present in this patient are related to the acrocallosal syndrome. The clinical and major nosologic aspects of this condition are discussed.
