There is currently no recognized connection between the occurrence of cleft lip and/or palate (CL/P) and Wilms tumor (WT). A retrospective review of cleft team records (2001-2015) revealed 3 cases of children, all male, with concomitant diagnoses of CL/P and WT treated at our institution. We report a 20 day old neonate who presented with a large facial hemangioma and Dandy-Walker cyst. This case is unusual because the cyst was detected antenatally and there was associated congenital hypothyroidism, which has been described very rarely with this condition.

A 61-year-old male patient suffering from squamous cell carcinoma of the lower lip developed pemphigus vulgaris two months after exposure to radiotherapy. Skin lesions were initially localised to the face and neck and later extended over other skin areas. The eruption are improved with glucosteroid therapy, which were stopped after six months. Pemphigus induced by radiotherapy is rare, latency before the onset of the vesiculobullous eruption is variable. Clinical, histological and immunological characteristics are similar to those of other types of pemphigus.

Reconstruction of the lower and upper lips, commissure, and full-thickness cheek defects using a composite radial forearm palmaris longus free flap with secondary commissuroplasty is described. The ultrasonographic features of 6 histologically proven dermoid and epidermoid cysts in the head and neck are reported. All 6 cysts had internal echoes, with a solid appearance. In relation to the period 1967-1976 in the last decade a lower number of patients with labial carcinoma was observed. The tumour developed with equal frequency in males and females, and the age of the patients was more advanced. A greater proportion of cases classified as T1T2N0M0 may be an evidence of earlier diagnosis of the tumour in most cases. Surgical treatment is the method of choice in such cases. Histological verification in cases with suspected metastases to the regional lymph nodes indicated a low incidence of these metastases.

We report a complex and rare combination of clinical and histological findings in a 59-year-old female patient: severe sicca-syndrome due to M. Sjögren, marginal zone B-cell lymphoma (MALT-type) in labial salivary glands with localized amyloid deposition, IgM-paraproteinemia, and Bence-Jones proteinuria. The causal association of these findings could only be elucidated by intense interdisciplinary correlation of all findings.
