This study compared 143 law enforcement officers with a history of serious misconduct and 429 matched comparators who had completed the Candidate and Officer Personnel Survey-Revised (COPS-R), an inventory developed specifically for psychological evaluation of public safety candidates. INTRODUCTION: People receiving opioid agonist treatment (OAT) are at higher risk of comorbidities, poverty and discrimination, which Big Events like the COVID-19 pandemic may exacerbate. The behaviours of people receiving OAT do not always align with normative behaviours as conceived by ruling institutions and laws, and so the group becomes a counterpublic, not imagined in mainstream public discourse. The aim of this study was to understand how people receiving OAT, as a counterpublic, implemented practises of care to mitigate negative health outcomes during COVID-19.

A description of the International Criminal Police Organization and its role in disaster victim identification is provided along with a summary of the standards developed and circulated to responders in INTERPOL member countries (188 throughout the world) to insure evidence-based DVI practices. Following the INTERPOL-mediated DVI response in 2005 to the SE Asia tsunami, many lessons learned have been recorded. Based on these current standards, INTERPOL's approach to DVI reflects a modern approach and philosophy.

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to study the use of alcohol and drugs among the general driving population in the southeastern part of Norway and to compare the findings with the results from a similar roadside survey in 2008-2009.
METHODS: A roadside survey of drivers of cars, vans, motorcycles, and mopeds was performed from April 2016 to April 2017 in collaboration with the Mobile Police Service. Oral fluid was collected using the Quantisal device and analyzed for alcohol, illicit drugs, and psychoactive medicinal drugs. Age, sex, time, and geographical region were recorded.
