We evaluated the protective effect of ademetionine, cytoflavin, and dihydroquercetin on activity of serum enzymes in rats treated with high doses of sodium valproate for 28 days. Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE) is a rare infectious central nervous system disease with a poor prognosis. Nineteen patients, 18 males and one female, ranging in age from 18 to 22, mean 19.6+/-1.5 years with SSPE were evaluated.
