A 56-year-old woman developed Favre-Racouchot syndrome involving her face and scalp primarily at the sites of x-ray irradiation for therapy of an astrocytoma. The patient had not had comedones prior to radiotherapy and did not have a history of excessive sun exposure. The patient showed an excellent response to topical retinoic acid gel. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of Favre-Racouchot syndrome developing after radiation therapy to be reported in the literature; its pathogenesis is discussed in this paper.

Ten patients, who had been treated for mycosis fungoides with electron beam radiation ten or more years previously, were examined for signs of radiation dermatitis. Although most patients had had acute radiation dermatitis, only a few manifested signs of mild chronic changes after having received between 1,000 and 2,800 rads.

INTRODUCTION: Radiation dermatitis is a common side effect of radiation therapy, often affecting patient comfort and may lead to treatment interruption. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Mepilex Lite dressings compared to standard care in managing radiation dermatitis.
METHODS: Following PRISMA guidelines, a comprehensive search of Cochrane CENTRAL, CINAHL, Embase, and MEDLINE was conducted up to July 2025. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing Mepilex Lite to standard of care in patients undergoing radiation therapy were included. Primary

Using a random number table method, 124 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients who received radiotherapy in the hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 were randomly divided into a control group of 62 cases and an experimental group of 62 cases. The control group received routine nursing care. Based on the control group, the experimental group used Tuhuanglian liquid wet compress from the beginning to the end of radiotherapy. The severity of acute radiation dermatitis in two groups of patients is observed at different radiotherapy times. At the end of the 10th radiotherapy, there was no statist
