Recently, organ preservation has gained importance for head and neck malignancies. The negative consequences of the therapies can be reduced without compromising the survival and the quality of life. BACKGROUND: In recent years, minimally invasive liver resection has become a standard of care for liver tumors. Considering the need to treat increasingly fragile patients, general anesthesia is sometimes avoided due to respiratory complications. One-to-four veins were ligated at the internal ring of the inguinal canal, while the testicular artery and lymphatics were spared.
