Since 1974, a group of consecutive adult patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma have been prospectively analyzed for tumor-surface membrane-marker phenotype and histopathologic correlation with response to treatment and survival. The results are reported in a subset of 35 patients with advanced (Stages III-IV) large-cell variants, most of whom would be classified by Rappaport criteria as histiocytic. Equine neutrophil antibody was raised in rabbits inoculated with equine neutrophils isolated to purity greater than 99.0%, using Percoll density-gradient sedimentation. Neutrophil antibody was detected by use of agar gel diffusion, leukoagglutination, indirect immunofluorescence, staphylococcal protein A and streptococcal protein G binding, and phagocytic inhibition techniques. Precipitin lines and leukoagglutination were seen in antiserum dilutions of 1:4 and 1:64, respectively. BACKGROUND: Lobomycosis is a rare cutaneous tropical neglected disease caused by the fungal agent Lacazia loboi, recently renamed Paracoccidioides lobogeorgii. Our objectives were to present all cases of lobomycosis diagnosed in French Guiana, to offer a precise description of their histopathological features and to propose a new clinico-histological prognostic classification.

The viability of the bovine embryo was monitored by measuring the early pregnancy factor (EPF). The EPF activity was measured by the rosette inhibition test before and after artificial insemination (AI) at natural estrus (n = 14), and after superovulatory treatment followed by embryo removal on day 7 after AI (n = 5).
