The paper presents the experience in administration of testosterone andekanoate (andriol) in males suffering from infertility due to idiopathic oligozoospermia. Andriol produced a positive effect on ejaculate. As a result, 25% of the wives got pregnant. The response to andriol arises from posttesticular effects on maturation of spermatozoa and stimulation of the accessory sexual glands.

With anthropometrical methods were investigated 1000 children with congenital Vitium cordis. It was found that congenital Vitium cordis caused a retardation of physical and sexual development. It is particularly clear in the sexual period of maturity and the puberty. The retardation is quite stronger in the male as in the female children. The results are demonstrated in tables and graphs.

This project examined the feasibility of low-cost videoendoscopy through the genital pore to determine sex, stage of maturity, and safety for 80, randomly selected, anesthetized Arctic charr. Laron syndrome (LS) or primary GH insensitivity is a unique human model to study the effects of congenital IGF-I deficiency. Within our cohort of 63 patients with LS, 15 female patients were regularly followed since birth or infancy, throughout puberty. 14 boys with pubertal gynecomastia, aged 9 to 16 years, were presented. Physical assessment, including pubertal maturation, height, weight, bone age, pubic hair stage, testicular and penis calibre and degree of gynecomastia was determined. Growth data in seven pairs of monozygotic twins only one twin affected by renal disease are given. The data suggest that renal disease not only retards normal growth and sexual maturation but also affects growth potential.
