Spontaneous haemoperitoneum in pregnancy (SHiP) is a rare but serious condition associated with an adverse pregnancy outcome. The authors present a typical case of inguinal hernia containing rudimentary uterine horn, ovary, and fallopian tube. During the operation of herniorraphy the right ovary and fallopian tube with rudimentary uterine horn were found in the hernia sac. The woman underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy three months before herniorrhaphy and was diagnosed with unicornuate uterus. The authors reviewed the case and suggested that detailed examination such as gynecological examination and magnetic resonance imaging be performed routinely in those females with inguinal hernias.

A case is reported of an isolated torsion of the left fallopian tube in a 12-year-old premenarchal girl, and the relevant literature is reviewed. This would seem to be an infrequent cause of acute abdominal pain in girls, and is rarely diagnosed preoperatively. The correct treatment is detorsion of a viable tube, or salpingectomy if ischaemia and necrosis have occurred.

We report the case of a 74-year-old woman with a primary mucinous borderline tumor of the fallopian tube coexisting with an ovarian mucinous borderline tumor. Data were obtained through histopathologic study of the excised surgical specimen. p53, estrogen receptor (ER) and PAX8 expression were evaluated by immunohistochemistry on the available right fallopian tube and ovary.
