Cancer-associated thrombosis (CAT) with thrombocytopenia (TP) poses concurrent risks of bleeding and recurrence. Guidance is fragmented by nonuniform platelet thresholds, tumor-context effects on agent choice, and scarce prospective data for DOACs specifically in TP.
