The basal motility of the sigmoid colon and rectum was evaluated manometrically over 3 consecutive 10-minute periods in 29 control subjects, … those for the controls. We present a very rare case of rectal cancer in a patient with situs inversus totalis (SIT), which is a complete transposition of the thoracic and abdominal viscera.
