In the present study we sought to compare levels of PAPP-A and hCG produced by different types of pregnancy: normal, ectopic, threatened abortion and molar pregnancy after evacuation. The gestations ranged from 13 to 122 days. Serum levels of both PAPP-A and hCG were measured and compared. Chi squares analysis were predictive only for increasing trends in hCG as well as decreasing trends of both hCG and PAPP-A.
