The microbiological tests of 769 blood samples from 220 patients, treated in 4 intensive care units of the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute for Emergency Medical Service within a period from January 2009 to June 2010, were analysed. Etiologically significant microorganisms were detected in 323 samples (42%). 253 isolates were used in the analysis. Grampositive and gramnegative pathogens were detected in 47 and 42% of the cases respectively. Candida and anaerobic organisms were isolated in 8 and 3% of the cases respectively. The results of clinico-morphological studies of 152 cases of neuroblastoma are presented. Neuroblastoma should be regarded as a tumor in which the following patterns may be distinguished: sympatogonioma (2.6%), sympatoblastoma -1 (38.8%), sympatoblastoma -2 (15.2%), ganglioneuroblastomia (41.4%), and combined ganglioneuroblastoma (2%). The article presents the results of a monocentric randomized open prospective study conducted from 2008 to 2013. Lacrimal intubation with Mini-Monoka and Monoka silicone stents (mono- or bicanalicular) or with SRS and Ritleng ("FCI", France) stents for dacryostenosis of different localization was performed in 151 patients (203 eyes).
