EXAMINATIONS AND DIAGNOSIS: Coronary angiography revealed an occlusion of the right coronary artery and catheter intervention with stent implantation was performed. We report a transfusion-transmitted hepatitis A virus infection in an immunocompromised patient in France, detected shortly after a transfusion of pathogen-reduced pooled platelets.
