PBNO although rare when missed may have the debilitating effect of obstructive uropathy in children. The gold standard for its diagnosis requires videourodynamics and electromyography (EMG) studies which are not available in nearly all hospitals in developing countries. We present a case demonstrating the usefulness of readily available imaging in diagnosis of PBNO as well as demonstrate effectiveness of alpha blockade in children. MCUG and cystoscopy should suffice in cases of suspected PBNO in neurologically normal children to inform trial of therapy in resource limited settings.

Urothelial melanosis is an exceptionally rare diagnosis, with less than 25 cases being reported in the literature. Melanosis of the urothelium is characterized by abnormal melanin deposition within tissues, producing a black, velvety appearance to the urothelial mucosa. We present a 67-year-old male undergoing cystoscopy during a routine percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), who was found to have diffuse bladder melanosis extending up the ureter and into the renal pelvis. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of synchronous melanosis of upper and lower urinary tract.

A 78-year-old man was referred to our hospital with a bladder tumor. He suffered from headaches and palpitations after voiding. Cystoscopy and MRI showed a submucosal bladder tumor which localized submucosally without invasion to the muscular layer. The tumor was positive for 131I-MIBG scintigraphy and we diagnosed it as a bladder paraganglioma. We enucleated the tumor en bloc from the bladder using holmium laser via transurethral approach, with minimal alteration of blood pressure during the procedure. The enucleated tumor was evacuated out of the bladder with a morcellator.

Intrauterine devices (IUDs) are one of the most commonly used methods for reversible contraception. This article reports a case of squamous cell carcinoma of the bladder which exhibited a migrated IUD into the bladder. A 66-year-old woman with a 26-year history of IUD use admitted to the clinic with the chief complaint of intermittent macroscopic haematuria. Clinical examination raised a suspicion bladder carcinoma, so cystoscopy and histological sampling were performed and squamous cell carcinoma of bladder was diagnosed, which was related to chronic irritation by a migrated IUD.

We present a rare case of acute urinary retention complicated by constipation secondary to a unilateral herpes zoster reactivation in the S2-4 dermatomes of an immunocompetent female. We reported a case of ileal segment adenocarcinoma arising in the augmented bladder 40 years after the operation. The patient was a 57-year-old man who underwent ileocystoplasty (Goodwin method) for contracted bladder due to tubercurosis in 1962. He was referred to our clinic for examination of gross hematuria. Cystoscopy revealed a tumor on the ileal segment of the augmented bladder. He underwent resection of the ileal segment and ureterocutaneostomy. The pathological diagnosis was poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma in the ileal segment. He died of the disease 6 months after the operation.

Hypopharyngeal cancers have a high propensity to distant metastasis. However, metastasis to the urinary bladder as an initial presentation of distant spread has not been reported in literature. We present a report of a patient with a treated and controlled pyriform sinus cancer who presented with complaints of dysuria, 8 months after completion of treatment. OBJECTIVES: To report a new case of bilateral ureteral pseudodiverticulosis associated with a transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder.
METHODS: 70 year-old male patient under ambulatory study for hematuria.
RESULTS: The intravenous urography (IVU) shows images of addition in relation to bilateral ureteral pseudodiverticulosis. Urine cytology and cystoscopy showed the existence of a concomitant tumor.

Spontaneous migration of the intrauterine devices into the bladder and secondary stone formation are rare complications. A 33-year-old women in whom a copper T intrauterine device had been placed two years previously, presented complaining of irritative lower urinary tract symptoms. Intravesical migration of intrauterine device and big stones around it were confirmed by radiography and cystoscopy. The stones were fragmented by using electrohydraulic lithotriptor. And then all fragments of the stones and IUD were cystoscopically removed by a grasping forceps without any complication.

CASE: A multigravida, with a history of two prior cesarean deliveries, presented with complaints of heavy vaginal bleeding near term. We report our experience with two cases of late migration of the suture and bolster occurring 2 years after a modified Stamey endoscopic bladder neck suspension. Delayed migration of the suture and bolster after an endoscopic bladder neck suspension across tissue planes, with subsequent erosion into the bladder, is uncommon. Eleven cases of vesicouterine fistula were reported. The initial diagnosis was made when urinary incontinence was occurring. The diagnosis was best confirmed by cystoscopy and hysterography, which was positive in 9 cases. Endometriosis of the urinary tract is uncommon. A thirty-year-old woman was referred to our hospital, complaining of macrohematuria. Intravenous pyelography (IVP) showed bilateral hydro nephrosis. The authors report 2 cases of unilateral non functioning hydronephrotic kidney, associated with homolateral bladder tumoral filling defect. Cystoscopy and histology showed a non infiltrating tumor.
