OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the performance of software in segmenting ground-glass and solid components of subsolid nodules in pulmonary adenocarcinomas.
METHOD: Seventy-three pulmonary adenocarcinomas manifesting as subsolid nodules were included. Two radiologists measured the maximal axial diameter of the ground-glass components on lung windows and that of the solid components on lung and mediastinal windows. To improve the preservation period without cold-chain of the live attenuated vaccine of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), a set of thermostable formulations composed of trehalose, tryptone and other protectants were dried by vacuum foam drying (VFD) along with PRRSV solutions. In the 37°C and 45°C resistance ageing test, the dried foam vaccine showed significant thermostability, and the virus titer lost 0.8 Log10 at 37°C for 4months, 1.0 Log10 at 45°C for 25days. The authors report on the correlation between the photoluminescence (PL) property and the SnO amount in SnO-ZnO-P2O5 (SZP) glass. In the PL excitation (PLE) spectra of the SZP glass containing Sn2+ emission center, two S1 states, one of which is strongly affected by SnO amount, are assumed to exist.
