Histomorphologic features of multicentric reticulohistiocytosis are rarely seen in three predominant areas of one patient. Characteristic are infiltrates of eosinophilic histiocytes and multinuclear giant cells with opalescent appearance, fine vacuoles, and PAS-positive granules. In all three lesions, the histologic findings were identical. In the mucous membrane and the synovia, we found dilated vessels with thickened walls and edema of the tissue. In the synovia, size and number of the multinuclear giant cells are less pronounced.

A case of pituitary adenoma associated with Rathke's cleft cyst is reported. A 35-year-old woman suffering from visual disturbance, polydipsia-polyuria and amenorrhea galactorrhea was admitted. "Juvenile" adenofibromas that presented in 25 patients were reviewed. All of the patients were in the second decade of life. The tumors were solitary in 19 patients and multiple and bilateral in six patients. All were distinguished microscopically by prominent cellularity of both epithelium and stroma. An 18-month-old infant with recurrent congenital hydrocele presented with a mass in the caput epididymis. The tumour and several fragments of the tunica vaginalis were removed and studied by light and electron microscopy. The simultaneous occurrence of carcinoma and carcinoid in the stomach is rare. Only 5 cases have been reported in the literature so far. Our patient developed double primary neoplasms adjoining the gastric antrum. One was an early ulcerated adenocarcinoma limited to the submucosa, the other a minute carcinoid also within the submucosa. There was a tumor in the left breast which was suspected to be carcinoid tumor at excisional biopsy. Autopsy revealed the same tumor in the right nipple. In the cells of the bilateral tumors a number of argylophil granules were diffusely demonstrated and the neurosecretory ones were verified electronmicroscopically. In the urine of the patient a moderate amount of norepinephrine was excreted. It was presumed that the norepinephrine might have been produced from the breasts. In the literature reviewed, the case of breast carcinoid has not been reported previously.

The rare case of a testicular androblastoma associated with a complex germ cell tumor of the same testis is reported. Gynecomastia preceded the clinical appearace of testicular swelling by 3 months, suggesting that the 2 tumors developed contemporaneously and that, in theory, the Sertoli cell tumor is probably dependent on the germ cell tumor.
