OBJECTIVE: The objective of the study was to evaluate the use of urodynamics to determine the need for incontinence surgery at the time of abdominal sacrocolpopexy (ASC).
STUDY DESIGN: The records of 441 women undergoing ASC during 2005-2007 were reviewed. Group 1 consisted of 204 women (46.3%) with urodynamic stress incontinence (USI), including occult USI, who underwent incontinence surgery with ASC. Jacquet erosive diaper dermatitis is typically described as a severe irritant dermatitis of the perianal region. However, Jacquet erosive diaper dermatitis, perianal pseudoverrucous papules and nodules, and granuloma gluteale infantum/ adultorum have been regarded as discrete entities or all part of the same clinical spectrum, representing the result of chronic, severe, irritant contact dermatitis. We present a case of Jacquet erosive diaper dermatitis and a discussion of the clinical spectrum of diseases to which it belongs.

This study examined the prevalence of dyspareunia, urinary sensory symptoms, and urinary incontinence and explored their associations among sexually active Chinese women aged 15-34 years. In a 14-year-old boy with bladder augmentation, Mitrofanoff appendicovesicostomy, Malone antegrade enema stoma, and bladder neck reconstruction, urinary continence was restored by injection of Teflon with a Veress needle and the aid of a 2-mm laparoscopic port. Seventy-nine patients of bladder neck suspension using an extraperitoneal variation of laparoscopic surgery were performed for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence.
